Role: Designer & Developer (Processing)
Designing with code. A series of large-format high-quality prints, generated via Processing, that employ code as a system for graphic design. All of these prints are generated purely with code - no alterations are made with software like Photoshop or Illustrator, except for formatting/printing purposes.
Using abstract shapes to represent the words "sharp" and "wet". Bezier curves and vertex points were used to generate these shapes.
Using computational color to represent my identity. The size of the squares, their location, and their color are all randomized within specific constraints.
Using a set of rules to create a new font around a specific word. Used the Geomerative library to draw triangles, ellipses and lines along the contours of the word "polygon".
Re-designing Airbnb's logo, using a computational system to create a dynamic version of the logo.
Adding elements of randomization to dynamically recreate a work of art that already employs some form of randomization.
Designing a pattern for Oculus' wrapping paper, using repetition and recursion.
Creating a generative logo, employing an algorithm that chooses the colors, inspired by a topographical map of Peru.
Multiple iterations of the generative logo, inspired by a topographical map of Peru.
